We love France for the diversity of tastes – sour and sweet or spicy and soft, as well as the fusion of rich colors and overtones. Trained by France’s best, our head chef every season prepares pleasant surprises for our guests with new dishes from various regions of France on the menu. His niçoise salad recipe hails from Nice, and his signature bouillabaisse stew is cooked Lyon style. Emotions stirred by French cuisine stay with you for many years.
In our cooking, we use truffle, lemon, Provençal, homemade creamy, sesame, nut and garlic oils, as well as several dozen herbs. Our chef knows just the right combination to give the dish unmatched flavor and accentuate its unique taste. He studied under Monsieur Hervé Bourdon and at L’atelier des Chefs in Lyon.
We buy them from farmers in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Ternopil regions. As for fish and seafood, we import those from France, Norway, Ireland and Greece, depending on the season. We cook sous-vide which allows us to preserve the properties and texture of finished products at low cooking temperatures, and we bake our own bread.
Guided by the head chef, our team prepares dishes according to the original recipes from various regions of France. Some of them have remained unchanged for centuries while others were re-imagined by Familia’s professional team of chefs.
The core of our wine selection includes drinks from Bordeaux, Alsace, Rhone Valley, Burgundy and other regions of France. Their rich and fragrant taste perfectly complements our menu. During cold seasons we traditionally offer even stronger varieties, as well as hot grog and mulled wine. The French palette in Familia is also accompanied by wines from Italy, Spain and the New World.
Our waiters will tell you fascinating stories about each dish and help you choose the right wine to uncover their taste. As for our younger guests, they can try the delicious and healthy dishes from the children’s menu.

Duck with honey apples, pears and oranges, homemade rabbit sausage with smoked paprika, cold boiled pork with mustard sauce, turkey baked with walnuts and much more – we always have a delicious surprise for you.
For Easter we are making holiday baskets with kulich as well as meat and fish dishes of your choice. Respecting Easter traditions, we prepare kulich using natural food products carefully selected by our head chef, together with cherry and orange candied fruit, raisins and natural vanilla. Other treats on the menu include cottage cheese paska crème brûlée with milk chocolate, almonds, sultana grapes and candied fruit.
